Biography
Naser Honarjoo is affiliated with Islamic Azad University, Iran, where his research focuses on soil quality assessment, land use change impacts, and soil degradation processes. His work has examined soil organic carbon dynamics, aggregate stability, and magnetic properties as indicators of soil redistribution in hilly and semi-arid regions of Iran, as well as soil classification systems and the effects of deforestation and land conversion on soil physical and chemical properties. His most-cited publication, "Comprehensive assessment of soil quality in various land uses: a comparative analysis of soil quality index models" (2024), reflects his ongoing contributions to developing robust methodologies for evaluating soil health across diverse agricultural and natural landscapes. His collaborative research has advanced understanding of topographic and anthropogenic influences on soil quality in western and central Iran.
