About The Journal


Journal of Memory (JM) is dedicated to providing authors with an ideal platform for publishing their research under the Open Access Initiative. Our mission is to ensure that our content is widely accessible to all readers while maintaining the highest ethical standards. Each manuscript is evaluated based on its scientific merits, ensuring that only the highest quality research is published.

JM covers a broad range of topics, from theoretical and experimental research to clinical and technological advances in memory-related areas. We invite contributions from researchers worldwide, fostering a global exchange of knowledge and ideas.
 

Scope of JM:

ADHD, Artificial memory, Associative network theory of memory, Autobiography, Biography and history, Catastrophe and trauma, Cognitive control, Cognitive Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Science, Collective public social and shared memory, Commemoration, Country familiarity, Cultural memory, Ethics of forgetting, Ethics of remembering, Everyday remembering, Eyewitness testimony, Fading, False memory etc.

Submission Guidelines and Review Process:

  • Original research, reviews, case reports, and other articles are welcome
  • Submissions must be made electronically in Word or PDF format and follow the guidelines
  • Title page should include article title, authors' names and affiliations, and a brief abstract
  • Submissions will be reviewed by the editorial team to ensure they meet the journal's standards
  • Suitable submissions will undergo evaluation by two or more expert reviewers
  • Editorial team will make a decision based on reviewers' comments and recommendations
  • Decision on submissions will be provided within 3 weeks of receipt
     

Submission Process:

1. Online Form Submission: Authors can submit their manuscripts through an online submission form. The form should include fields for the author's name, contact information, manuscript title, abstract, keywords, and the manuscript file upload. Upon submission, authors will receive a confirmation email with a unique submission ID.

2. Offline Email Submission: Authors can also submit their manuscripts via email to a designated submission email address. The email should include the author's contact information, manuscript title, abstract, keywords, and the manuscript file attachment. Upon receiving the email submission, the editorial team will acknowledge receipt and provide a unique submission ID.

3. Manuscript Zone Submission: Authors can submit their manuscripts through the Manuscript Zone platform, which allows for seamless manuscript submission, peer review, and tracking. Authors can create a login on the Manuscript Zone website, fill in the required details, upload their manuscript, and track the status of their submission through their account dashboard.
 

Article Processing Charge:

JM charges Article Processing Charges (APCs) to cover the costs of publication. This ensures that the journal remains open to all authors, regardless of their financial status. With an emphasis on original contributions, JM provides an informed view of current knowledge in the field of memory.
