Biography:

  • Dr. Cui Fuqiang received his training at Lanzhou Medical Colleague (MD, 1990), Hebrew University (MPH, 2003) and Basel University (PhD, 2010).
  • He had worked at the Gansu provincial CDC since 1995, and has worked at China CDC since 2005, mainly in the Division of Hepatitis (2005-2011).
  • Currently, he is the deputy director of National Immunization Program, is responsible for: study design and management for National key research on Hepatitis, epidemiological research on vaccines and immunization, international cooperation, health promotion and communication, national surveillance for vaccine preventable diseases, mainly on hepatitis A-E;
  • Dr. Cui is an author of over 130 peer-reviewed scientific articles in vaccine and infectious diseases.
