What is membership and how it works? 

Membership provides author(s) with an advantage of complete waiver of article processing charges (APC) and provides other useful benefits like language improvement, for the total number of years you have subscribed. Membership is valid from the date of subscription and up to the no of years subscribed. (Date to date)

Individual

You must be an author or co-author of the submitted manuscript to avail the waiver. You can choose from any of our journals to publish in the chosen membership period and alongside avail the author benefits provided.

• 5 manuscripts per year. "5 manuscripts per year" means an author can submit any number of manuscripts but charge waived for 5 accepted manuscripts excluding special issue.
• 30% discount for special issue APC *

An institutional membership provides free publication facility to authors of the subscribed institution for subscribed time period in accordance with the offer provided within that period along with enjoying the author benefits like language editing. To avail this membership make sure your institute becomes a member of OAP by paying the membership charges and there on an email from the authorized person from the institution, affirming that the manuscript belongs to the institution will serve and also one of the author's affiliation(s) must be the same institution.

Author advantages of being a member of OAP

100% waiver on your author publication charges, which you usually need to pay, to be published in an open access journal. It applies for number of manuscripts according to your plan for the total period of time you have subscribed for the membership of that particular journal.

Plagiarism report before actual submission can be obtained for up to 10 documents of your choice from a standard plagiarism checking platform, like ithenticate.

Desk review, meaning preliminary scrutiny of your manuscript by one of the peer reviewers is performed and suggestions will be provided for improving your manuscript in various aspects before submission.

Language improvement service for your scientific manuscript, by Native English speakers, can be availed free of cost which otherwise is a paid service. This service ensures you that your manuscript may not be rejected in the aspect of poorly written language or Grammar.

Important points to be noted

• The special services provided under the membership are to be made use in the prescribed time. Non usage of given limit does not entitle you for an extension.
• However if you wish to renew your membership before it expires, it can be carried forward as a courtesy.
• Renewal should be done before the last date to avail this opportunity (i.e., carry forward of remaining service slots) else it cannot be valid.
