Biography

Dr. Caiyao Xu is affiliated with Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, having completed doctoral studies at the School of Geographic and Oceanographic Sciences and the Department of Earth Science at Nanjing University. Dr. Xu's research focuses on geography, ecology, land use change, biodiversity, and ecosystem services, with particular emphasis on spatial-temporal environmental dynamics in coastal and metropolitan regions. Their most-cited work, "Spatial-temporal variation, driving mechanism and management zoning of ecological resilience based on RSEI in a coastal metropolitan area" (2024), has received 76 citations and exemplifies their contributions to understanding ecological resilience and environmental management. Dr. Xu has authored over 16 indexed publications advancing knowledge in geographic and ecological sciences.
