Associate Professor, China Pharmaceutical University.
Visiting Fellow, National Institute of Mental Health.
Tao Pang Ph.D.
Address:
National Institute of Mental Health,
National Institutes of Health,
Department of Health and Human Services.
Research Interests:
Drug screening and drug development to seek novel small molecules or natural products for the treatment of neurodegener.
Biography:
- Dr. Pang’s research focuses on the discovery of novel compounds by high-throughput screening or high-content screening in terms of molecular target-based assay or phenotypic assay, and drug development in order to provide therapeutics for the cerebral ischemic stroke and diabetes.
- He is also interested in the molecular mechanisms involved in brain inflammation, in order to prevent neuroinflammation and neuronal death, and promote brain functional recovery during cerebral ischemia.
