Biography:

  • Dr. Correcher’s research (1990-current) focuses on the study of the thermoluminescence (TL) and cathodoluminescence (CL) properties of natural, ceramic and synthetic materials to be applied in the field of dosimetry (environmental and retrospective luminescence dosimetry) and related methods (particularly as applied to the TL and CL glow curve analysis and dose reconstruction, geological and archaeological dating).
  • His main task is currently developed at CIEMAT (Centro de Investigaciones, Energéticas, Medioambientales and Tecnologícas) (Madrid, Spain) where he has participated in several R&D projects and contracts giving rise to more than 100 SCI papers.
  • At present, he is part of the WG10 Retrospective Dosimetry in the European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS).
