Husbandry Science

Husbandry Science is the study of the practice of animal husbandry, which is the science of raising and caring for animals kept for human use, such as livestock production and game management. Husbandry Science allows farmers to maximize their resources, such as land and feed, when managing their animals. By understanding the biological and physical needs of the animals, husbandry science can help increase animal yields and improve the quality of food products, with the ultimate goal of sustaining a healthier population. Additionally, husbandry science can be applied to veterinary medicine, where it helps diagnose and treat animals, as well as to wildlife conservation, where it helps maintain species populations in the wild.
