Biography
Erfan Babaee Tirkolaee, PhD, MS, is an Associate Professor at Istinye University in Istanbul, Turkey, specializing in Supply Chain Management, Project Scheduling, Robust Optimization, Metaheuristics, and Mathematical Modeling. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Industrial Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran, and completed his PhD in Industrial Engineering at Mazandaran University of Science and Technology. With over 165 indexed publications, his research has made significant contributions to operations research and optimization, including his most-cited work on brain tumor segmentation using artificial intelligence tools (2023), which has garnered 279 citations. He serves on editorial boards and as a reviewer for reputable academic journals in his field.
