Urinary Biomarkers

Urinary biomarkers are substances that are present in and excreted from the body in urine. They can provide valuable information about a person's health status and help to monitor disease and drug efficacy. For example, urinary biomarkers are used to diagnose and assess kidney function, detect the presence of specific hormones, and to provide important information about metabolic diseases and other conditions. Urinary biomarkers can also be used to monitor the progress of treatments and to detect early signs of diseases. By accurately measuring these substances in the urine, doctors can identify and treat conditions much earlier than if the biomarkers were undetected.
