Manuscript submission
Before sending a manuscript to JNDC, confirm that chemistry is central to the contribution and review the preparation, policy and fee requirements.
Four checks reduce avoidable delays and help the editorial office assess the manuscript accurately.
The manuscript should make a clear, supported advance in chemical knowledge, methods, materials, measurement or molecular-level explanation. Chemistry must be the central scholarly contribution, including in medicinal, biological or biomedical applications.
Use the applicable article-type limits, structure, figure, table, reference and supporting-information requirements.
Confirm authorship, competing-interest, ethics, data-availability and originality declarations.
The standard APC is USD 2,100 and is requested only after acceptance. Editorial decisions are independent of payment.
Journal of New Developments in Chemistry considers original research, reviews, short communications and technical notes that make a clear, supported advance in chemical knowledge, methods, materials, measurement or molecular-level explanation. In every case, chemistry must be the central scholarly contribution. The Instructions for Authors provide preparation requirements for these formats. For a format not covered there, discuss suitability with the editorial office before preparing the submission.

Submission begins editorial assessment; it does not imply that the manuscript will proceed to external review or be accepted.
Peer review: Single-blind by default; double-blind review is available on request.
Manuscripts that proceed to external peer review are normally evaluated by at least two independent subject-matter experts.
