Aims and Scope

 

International Journal of Psychotherapy Practice and Research is a scholarly, open-access journal with a focus on the field of psychotherapy. IJPR features articles of scholarly significance that facilitate thorough information on varied psychological and therapeutic subjects. It is our goal to accelerate the beneficial progression of psychotherapeutic practices, enhance the quality of mental health treatment, and share new and effective therapies globally.
 

Journal Focus:

IJPR highlights current trends in psychotherapy seeking to offer the reader factual and timely information on psychological issues, new approaches to the treatment of mental disorders, as well as the latest findings of psychological investigations. We highlight specific categories like cognitive behavioral therapy, evidence-based therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, etc, to focus only on the most useful content. The main areas of our focus include mental health disorders, clinical psychology, and counseling psychology with the aim of enhancing the treatment through psychotherapy. As an open-access journal, IJPR ensures that this valuable research is freely available to the global community.

 

Key Areas of Interest:

IJPR has a specific focus on manuscripts that cover clinical psychology and psychotherapy, specifically, evaluating the efficacy of different psychological interventions in the treatment of mental health disorders like anxiety disorders, depression, and personality disorders. The specific interest lies in articles that review evidence-based practical psychotherapy interventions that address specific therapeutic methodologies and their clinical utilization. We invite submissions on the assessment, pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment, and overall care of the Mental Health disorders, additionally, it invites submissions on the creation, and assessment of the Psychotherapy, Trauma Therapy, Group Therapy, and Family Therapy.

IJPR also encompasses special issues where the editors present some topics of great importance and interest within psychotherapy. These special issues are sectioned accordingly to focus on impending trends, research outcomes, and practice developments. These journal special issues encourage authors to submit manuscripts for consideration.
