Aims and Scope

International Journal of Neuroimaging (IJNI) is a premier, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the exploration of human and animal brain imaging and neuroscience research. Our mission is to advance scientific understanding of the structure, function, networks, genetics, behavior, pathology, and treatment of the brain through cutting-edge neuroimaging techniques.

Scope and Focus:

IJNI welcomes high-quality submissions covering diverse areas of neuroimaging, including but not limited to:

  • Brain Structure & Function: Mapping neural pathways, regions, and networks.
  • Genetics & Neuroscience: Investigating the role of genes in brain function and disorders.
  • Innovations in Neuroimaging: Advancements in MRI, fMRI, PET, CT, and other imaging modalities.
  • Clinical Applications: Early diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of neurological conditions.
  • Neurophysiology & Behavior: Bridging brain activity with cognition, emotions, and motor function.
  • Neurological Disorders & Treatments: Imaging insights into Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, epilepsy, and more.
  • Technical Developments: Novel imaging techniques, Artificial Intelligence applications, and computational modeling.
