International Journal of Limnology

Aims and Scope

International Journal of Limnology purposes to publish experimental and/or mechanical reports in limnological sciences, in the form of Research, Review, Literature review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letter to the editor, and Editorials. This journal aims to serve as a platform for information dissemination among scientists and practitioners, which stimulates the improvement of limnology. IJLI encourages papers on the ecology of freshwater systems, varying from studies of aquatic organisms, physical and chemical works that relate to the biological environment, to ecological applications and frameworks for water management directives.

IJLI is committed to publishing quality articles that promote and support the science, management and understanding of freshwater ecosystems.

The journal follows a fast publication schedule and offers authors rapid publication of their manuscripts. The journal also encourages interdisciplinary research and encourages authors to explore emerging fields in the area.
