Article Processing Charges

An invoice is issued only after final editorial acceptance. Nothing is payable at submission or during review.

Editorial decisions remain independent of fees, memberships, roles and paid services.

Billing follows the editorial decision; it never precedes or informs it.

Invoices can be addressed to a grant administrator or an institutional finance contact. Naming one billing contact per manuscript keeps the process straightforward.

The editorial office can supply the publication documentation funders ask for in reimbursement and post-award reporting.

Authors whose funding situation makes the charge difficult are invited to write to the editorial office at [email protected] before an invoice is raised. Any such request is considered separately from the assessment of the manuscript and has no bearing on it.
