Aims and Scope

International Journal of Amino Acids (IJAA) is an open access peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scientific research related to amino acids and their applications. IJAA aims to advance the knowledge on the synthesis, metabolism, biochemistry and functions of amino acids. 
 

• Expanding the Frontiers of Knowledge: IJAA focus on a multidisciplinary approach, bridging research from chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology,  nutrition, and biotechnology to explore amino acid roles in drug discovery,  biological processes, and disease mechanisms.
• Amino Acids in Real-World Applications: The journal highlights the practical applications of amino acids in industries such as food,  pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and biotechnology, reflecting their essential roles in nutrition and healthcare solutions.
• Fostering Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Recognizing the complexity of amino acid research, IJAA welcomes contributions from a variety of scientific fields, including biology, medicine, toxicology, and food sciences, encouraging collaboration that can address current challenges and innovations.
