Biography
Dr. Liye Zou is a Professor at Shenzhen University in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. He earned his PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, with prior education at Springfield College. Dr. Zou has published over 102 indexed articles, with his research focusing on mind-body exercises and their physiological and psychological effects in clinical populations. His most-cited work, "Effects of Mind–Body Exercises (Tai Chi/Yoga) on Heart Rate Variability Parameters and Perceived Stress: A Systematic Review with Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials" (2018), has received 216 citations and exemplifies his contributions to understanding traditional Chinese exercise interventions for chronic disease management and cardiovascular health.
