Biography
Nik Adilah Nik Othman is a Medical Lecturer and Consultant ORL-HNS at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Kubang Kerian, Kelantan. Her research encompasses a broad range of otolaryngology topics, including auditory diagnostics, tinnitus management, otologic infections and complications, and electrocochleographic assessments in Asian populations. She has contributed to the development and psychometric validation of clinical tools for tinnitus evaluation and has investigated therapeutic interventions for auditory disorders. Her most-cited publication, "Comparing the diagnostic accuracy of audiometric Weber test and tuning fork Weber test in patients with conductive hearing loss" (2022), reflects her focus on refining diagnostic methodologies in otology. Her work also addresses uncommon clinical presentations and complications in head and neck pathology, advancing both clinical practice and patient care in the field.
