Aims and Scope

International Marine Science Journal (IMSJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access platform dedicated to fostering international collaboration in marine science. We provide a forum where researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world can exchange ideas, share innovative research findings, and engage in collaborative projects that advance our understanding of the marine environment.

Scope of IMSJ:

  • Marine Ecology & Conservation: Investigations into marine organisms, their interactions, and conservation strategies to protect fragile ecosystems.
  • Marine Biodiversity & Biotechnology: Research on the diversity of marine life and the development of biotechnological applications from marine organisms.
  • Marine Geology & Geophysics: Studies on the physical structure and dynamic processes of the ocean floor and coastal regions.
  • Marine Chemistry & Physics: Analysis of the chemical and physical properties of seawater and their impact on marine life and ecosystem functioning.
  • Marine Meteorology & Climate Change: Research on oceanic weather patterns, climate variability, and their effects on marine ecosystems.
  • Marine Pollution & Management: Exploration of pollution sources, their ecological impacts, and innovative strategies for pollution mitigation and environmental management.
  • Marine Resource Utilization & Management: Sustainable practices in the exploitation and management of marine resources, including fisheries, mineral reserves, and energy resources.
  • Marine Policy & Governance: Examination of legal, regulatory, and policy issues related to marine conservation, sustainable development, and resource allocation.
  • Emerging Trends in Marine Science: Coverage of innovative research and breakthrough technologies that are shaping the future of marine science.

Journal welcomes innovative studies that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to address complex challenges in marine science. Some of the keywords are outlined below which belong to the scope of the journal but are not strictly confined to these. For more queries, email us at [email protected]
