The scholars who take editorial responsibility for International Journal of Pain Management. Each name and each portrait links to that editor’s profile.
Manuscripts are assessed for scope, scholarly quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and research integrity. An editor who is an author on a submission, or who has a competing interest in it, hands it to another editor.

Editorial roles are scholarly stewardship, and they carry no advantage in the review of the editor’s own work.
Editors oversee peer review and uphold publication ethics. An editor’s own submissions are handled independently by another editor, and editorial decisions are independent of fees, services, memberships and roles.
Single-blind by default; double-blind review is available on request.
