International Journal of Cell

Aims and Scope

International Journal of Cell is a multidisciplinary journal that covers a wide scope in the area of life sciences IJC encourages and publishes article types such as Research, Review, Literature review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letter to the editor, and Editorials, etc. It provides a platform to research investigators, scholars, medical practitioners for sharing their contributions on the recent advances and techniques related to cell and its development.

The International Journal of Cell (IJC) is a broad-based and open-access journal that offers innovative research and perspectives on all aspects of cellular biology. It covers topics from molecular, cellular, and organismal biology, while emphasising cutting-edge discoveries and applications. The journal also has a strong commitment to its community of readers, providing a wealth of information that can be used to further the understanding of the latest cell biology field advances.

Research in this field is progressing at a rapid pace, with implications for all aspects of modern life, and the journal strives to ensure that this progress is translated into meaningful contributions to the literature.
The IJC seeks to further the understanding of the interdependence between cells, their environments, and the functions that they perform in the human body. This interdisciplinary approach incorporates interdisciplinary research from a variety of backgrounds, including genetics, biochemistry, physiology, immunology, and genomics.

The primary purpose of the journal is to facilitate the exchange of information, research advances, and ideas among researchers working in the fields of cell biology and related disciplines. Topics of interest include like molecular genetics, epigenetics, genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, cellular physiology, aging, stem cell research neurobiology, regenerative medicine, cancer research, biophysics, plant biology, biochemistry, genomics and proteomics, cell biology, biotechnology, in vitro and in vivo imaging, systems biology and bioinformatics, stem cell therapy and drug discovery. The journal also provides special issues, focusing on the topics of the latest advancements in all aspects of cell biology.

  • Cell growth: The cell cycle can be thought of as the life cycle of a cell. In other words, it is the series of growth and development steps a cell undergoes between its “birth”—formation by the division of a mother cell—and reproduction—division to make two new daughter cells.

  • Cell replacement therapy: In CAR-T cell therapy, immune cells are removed from a patient, genetically modified, then put back into the patient to fight against cancer.

  • Mesenchymal cells:  Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are a popular cell type adopted in regenerative therapy. A great number of research studies have demonstrated that MSC-based treatments are effective in treating a variety of pathologies, including neurological illnesses, cardiac ischemia, diabetes, and bone and cartilage diseases.

  • Molecular Pathogenesis:Molecular pathogenesis research entails the study of host-pathogen interactions at the level of cellular and molecular networks with application to the knowledge of virulence factors, host resistance to pathogens, and emerging (and resurgent) infectious disease agents. The study of the characterisation of microbial communities in infectious illness conditions is an important emerging subject. Researchers are investigating the wide spectrum of intricate molecular interactions that occur in host-symbiont and host-pathogen interactions.
